Ambassador of the Netherlands in the Province of Wasit for Encouraging Investment Opportunities

In February confirmed the Netherlands is seeking to develop its relations with the Wasit province, especially in the agricultural field, in the framework of its commitment to leave a mark in the march of progress in Iraq, while the administration called Wasit to the investment opportunities available in Sinai, especially since the More than 15 international companies currently operate, noting that the province will hold an investment conference in the Netherlands through next June.
This came during a meeting with the governor of Wasit, Mahmoud Abdul Ridha Talal, in his official office, today, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Iraq, Janet Saipan, in the presence of members of the local government.
The ambassador said, “The visit came against the backdrop of convergence agricultural cooperation between the Netherlands and Wasit, which is characterized by fertile territory,” noting that “the Dutch government aims to obtain investment opportunities are encouraging in Wasit at all levels, the most important agriculture through the implementation of projects of plant and animal preservation.”
She Saipan, that “the two sides held a series of joint meetings included the Investment Authority and Chamber of Commerce to maintain, resulted in fully convinced that there are many investment opportunities that require expedite the entry of Dutch companies competed to win,” pointing out that “the Netherlands is following the development in Iraq at all levels, including the area of reconstruction, within the framework of its commitment to make their mark in it.”
For his part, the governor of Wasit, Mahmoud Abdul Ridha Talal during the meeting, which was attended by President of the Economic Committee in the Wasit Oraybi Zamili, “The Wasit province, was among the first to open its doors to international companies since the early,” noting that there are “more than 15 international companies of different nationalities, working in the province, without having to be themselves and one Dutch.”
He Talal, “the local government is keen to attract Dutch companies to work to maintain because of its distinctive expertise in various fields,” stressing the need to “Dutch companies entering the field of competition for tenders announced by the province.”
