1. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. NOTHING.
2. Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction.
3. Saddam Hussein was totally contained by the
UN no-fly zone.
4. Saddam Hussein had allowed UN weapons
into Iraq and they had found nothing.
5. Bush and Cheney manipulated intelligence to
build support for the war with the American
people.
6. Bush/Cheney predicted the war would cost a
total of $50-60 billion. The long term costs of
this war will be $3 trillion.
7. The costs of this war added massively to the
budget deficit, greatly contributing to the
awful national debt we have now, yet there was
nobody on the right yelling about fiscal
responsibility.
8. The U.S. avoids intervening in many countries
where genocide has taken place or continues to
take place.
9. Iraq and Saddam Hussein posed no imminent
the United States, nor Israel.
10. Over 4000 US troops needlessly lost their lives
and 60,000 troops needlessly suffered injury.
11. Friends of Bush/Cheney got enormously
wealthy through war profiteering.
