Iraq Prepares to Defeat N.Korea

Doha, Jan. 18 (AKnews) – The coach of the Iraqi football team stated on Tuesday that his team’s game that will be played on Wednesday against north Korea is a tough game and it will play with one option that is winning, and the game comes within the Fourth Group of the finals of the Asian Nations Cup 2011.
Wolfgang Sidka said during a press conference that the match against north Korea is a tough match but they are ready for this confrontation, and they consider it as the gateway to the quarter-finals.
“The stress factor is found among our players but the pressure will be more on the North Korean national team, especially since they will play with one option that is winning, and on the other hand we will play with the option of winning or equality.”
“The situation of the Iraqi team has become better after defeating Emirates in the second round of the finals and we are more stable compared to the previous situation of the team … We have to be patient in the game, and if we were lucky and scored a goal, we have to be patient until the final whistle of the referee.”
The Iraqi team will face on Wednesday North Korea within the third and last round of the Asian Cup 2011 at the al-Rayyan Stadium in Doha, Qatar.
